Which one do you need?

If an employer sent you here, they almost always mean BLS. ACLS and PALS are the advanced courses — take those once you already hold BLS.

Basic Life Support for healthcare providers

The certification hospitals, clinics, and nursing programs ask for. High-quality CPR for adults, children, and infants, bag-mask technique, AED use, and team dynamics.

For providers with a current or recently expired card

A shorter session for renewing an unexpired BLS card. Skills check and written exam included.

ACLS Provider

Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support, for the resuscitation team

Rhythm recognition, the ACLS algorithms, airway management and the drugs that go with them. You run megacode scenarios as team leader. BLS certification is assumed.

Pediatric Advanced Life Support, for paediatric emergencies

Systematic paediatric assessment, respiratory and shock management, paediatric rhythm recognition and resuscitation. Weight-based dosing throughout. BLS certification is assumed.

How it works
